Vintage Italian Piero Fornasetti Style Ceramic Butterfly Coasters Set of Seven (7)
This set of seven (7) ceramic small plates/ coasters was inspired by Piero Fornasetti’s iconic “Farfalle” collection. Piero Fornasetti was a leading force in 20th century Italian design, and his pieces are coveted (and quite costly!). This set, also designed and created in Italy, is the perfect way to get a high end designer look for a fraction of the price.
Each coaster features a unique assortment of moths & butterflies printed across the top with a gold leaf ring around the rim. The underside of each is stamped, “MADE IN ITALY”. The plates each measure approximately 4-1/8 inches in diameter and are perfect to use as coasters.
While in beautiful vintage condition with respect to their age, there are some spots of the gold rim and winged insets that have worn.
